| In conjunction with the Iligan fiesta celebration a Swim Meet was held for swim clubs from many parts of the Island of Mindanao. Included in the swim meet was a section for the deaf. There were eight races for each of boys and girls. The swim team from the school for the deaf in iligan dominated this section. The team was trained by teacher Sonia and the voluntary services of the coach for the iligan swim club Cecil. Nazria Bansuan who won 4 gold medals last year won 7 this year and finished 2nd in the other. New student Mastura Managgolo won 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze. |
